Personal Information
Personal information is information associated with your name or identity.
We do not require your personal information to obtain access to any part
of our public site. When you place an order with us or establish an account
for certain software downloads, Sparco may collect personal information
from you, including your name, company, address, e-mail address, phone
numbers, and credit card information. Sparco's primary purpose in collecting
this type of personal information is to facilitate order processing and
to enable us to contact you if a problem arises with your order. We may
also collect personal information in other circumstances, including without
limitation, when you complete surveys or other questionnaires, or send
an e-mail to Sparco. We use this type of personal information you provide
to help us design and build better products. Participating in any of these
activities is optional.
Our web server logs collect the domain names of visitors to our Web sites.
This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average
time spent on the Sparco web site, pages viewed, and the like. This research
is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis so as to prevent identification
of personal information relating to any one individual. Sparco uses this
type of personal information to research our users' demographics, interests,
and behavior based on the information provided to us when making a purchase,
during a promotion, from surveys and from our server log files. We do
this to better understand and serve our users.

Use of Cookies
To ensure that Sparco is publishing content that customers need and want,
Sparco.com collects aggregated site-visitation statistics using cookies.
Sparco does not track individuals' use of the site. When someone visits
the site, a cookie is placed on the customer’s machine (if the customer
accepts cookies) or is read if the customer has visited the site previously.
Web beacons, also known as clear gif technology, or action tags, assist
in delivering the cookie. This technology tells us how many visitors clicked
on key elements (such as links or graphics) on a Sparco.com Web page.
Sparco does not use this technology to access your personally identifiable
information on Sparco.com; it is a tool Sparco uses to compile aggregated
statistics about Sparco.com web site usage. This tracking information
is not shared outside of Sparco and its parent company, and Sparco does
not allow other companies to place clear gifs on our site.
If you choose to not have your browser accept cookies from the Sparco.com
web site, you will be able to view the text on the screens, however, you
will not experience a personalized visit nor will you be able to experience
the shopping “basket” functionality of the Sparco web site.

your e-mail address) to others. Sparco may share the information you provide
with (i) its parent and affiliated companies, and (ii) its third party
business providers as necessary to respond to your requests for products
and services or to fulfill your orders. Sparco’s third party business
providers to whom your personal information is disclosed will be subject

Security Measures
When you place an order or provide personal information, your transactions
are encrypted for security. Encryption scrambles the information in your
purchase, including your credit card number, so this information can only
be viewed by Sparco.
Sparco uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. The SSL
protocol provides server authentication, data integrity, and privacy on
the Web. This security measure helps ensure that no impostors, eavesdroppers,
or vandals get your personal information. SSL not only encrypts your personal
and financial information transmitted, including credit card information,
but also verifies the identity of the server and that the original message
arrives safely at its destination.
However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to
be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal
information, PCTEL cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information
you transmit to us or from our Web site, and therefore you use our site
at your own risk.
