software platform, the Ekahau T101 Wi-Fi tag enables real-time people

as well. The Ekahau Positioning Engine software reports the continuous
location and movements of the tag within Wi-Fi coverage area both
indoors and outdoors.

No Proprietary Network Infrastructure Needed

Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) technology, Bluetooth or active RFID,
and therefore require deployment of costly RF- antennas or receivers,
Ekahau's patented RF modelling technology leverages standard Wi-Fi
access points. No proprietary infrastructure is needed. By using
standard 802.11 access points and T101 WiFi tags, any WiFi network can
now work as the backbone and sensor network for a real-time location

T101 Developer Kit
Ekahau T101 Developer kit consists of the EPE-15 software, for
tracking 15 mobile objects, 5 WiFi Location tags and the respective
end-user documentation . The package enables you to track T101 tags
and other WiFi devices in real time on a floor plan map, or report
location based on the named zones within the enterprise. It also comes
with a flexible SDK and Application Framework, that provides you the
tools and examples of building your own location-tracking application
tailored to meet your specific enterprise needs.
